Now please understand that NO firearms course, including mine, will start any client out "running and gunning." Every single client must begin with the fundamentals and build a strong tactical foundation to ensure that what they have learned in the past is the same as the techniques I teach so that everything we do is done safely and correctly (and will not get them killed in a real gunfight).

We do NOT focus on target shooting or how to get better at playing competitive shooting games (although our training will definitely help you excel in these areas). Everything we do is geared toward the reality of using a firearm to defend your life and the lives of your loved ones and the realities of surviving and winning an actual gunfight or any violent criminal attack.

The EXTREME advantage of my private training is that if you have had previous formal training, and already have a firm grasp on the fundamentals, then we can progress more quickly than someone else who had not yet mastered those skills. If you are a true beginner who has never even touched a gun before, or who may even be afraid of guns, we can progress at your pace with zero pressure and make sure that you still gain the skills you need to protect yourself and your family.

Even if you have had previous formal training, my EXTREMELY wide range of experience, gained through many of the best instructors and firearms academies in the world, ensures that I can give you unique insight into what works best in the reality of an actual gunfight and what old poor techniques continue to linger on just because "that is how we have always done it." We can cover ALL of the fundamentals of Tactical Defensive Shooting as well as drawing from the holster from concealment, and getting multiple shots on target quickly and accurately under time pressure with after action drills, malfunction clearances, ammo management, shoot or no shoot scenarios, etc, but there are a few limitations to what can be practiced on any indoor facility.

 

OUTDOOR OPTIONS: If you prefer training outdoors regardless of rain, temperature, and weather (as I do) then we can train at either of our outdoor facilities.

Tactical Handgun I :

This is the foundation and prerequisite for all of the other more advanced courses we offer. ALL firearms academies have this requirement regardless of previous experience to insure safety, a strong tactical foundation, and to make sure that any techniques you have learned previously are the same as what we teach, mesh well with what we teach, and will not get you killed in a real gun fight.

Tactical Handgun I Course is designed to build a strong tactical foundation without which any and all additional training would be useless. As all level I courses it must start with the basics regardless of whether the client has had previous formal training or not, BUT because all of our courses are private, we can ramp up very quickly and even the most seasoned shooters will be challenged and greatly improve their skills and knowledge of tactical defensive shooting. In this up to 5 hours of private training (dependant on how exhausted you get and how much ammo you have to expend) we will work towards covering:
